...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON... The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of CENTRAL ARKANSAS, EASTERN ARKANSAS, SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS, SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS, and WESTERN ARKANSAS, including the following areas, in CENTRAL ARKANSAS, Faulkner, Garland, Grant, Lonoke, Perry, Prairie, Pulaski, Saline, and White. In EASTERN ARKANSAS, Jackson, Monroe, and Woodruff. In SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS, Arkansas, Bradley, Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Jefferson, and Lincoln. In SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS, Calhoun, Clark, Dallas, Hot Spring, Ouachita, and Pike. In WESTERN ARKANSAS, Montgomery and Polk. * Through Tuesday afternoon * Periods of rain, associated with Barry, will continue across the region through Tuesday. The rain will be heavy at times, with additional amounts of one to three inches expected in most areas. However, parts of southwest Arkansas could see upwards of three to five inches later tonight into Tuesday. These amounts may lead to flash flooding. * While flash flooding will be a primary concern into Tuesday, rivers over these areas will need to be monitored for additional flood potential later this week.
