Our Drew Central Pirates competed at the Lois Davis Invitational at SAU on Saturday, 9/27. We are so proud of how our runners represented!
✨ All of our athletes did amazing, but I want to give a shout-out to Blaine Donaldson. He took home 7th place, with a time of 15:33.72 for 2 miles!

As part of Mrs. Deal’s Career Awareness class, 6th grade students created Career Trading Cards to explore and share information about various professions. Each student researched a career of interest, designed a trading card with an illustration representing that career, and included five key facts about the job.
After creating their cards, students participated in a “trading” session, where they shared their cards with classmates. During the activity, they learned about a wide range of careers from their peers and recorded interesting facts from each card.
This engaging and interactive project helped students gain a broader understanding of potential career paths while also building confidence in their communication and presentation skills.
